Each week Parents/Coaches from the assigned age group will be required to work at the Snack Stand. Snack Stand profit helps offset costs and keeps registration fees stable. Your Age Group Coordinator and Coach will be contacting you about each team's volunteer time at the Snack Stand this Spring
Program
Overview
The Lacey Soccer Club runs a weekly Instructional / Recreation program for children ages 4 through 10, to play in both Fall and Spring Soccer seasons. Open Registration is held every Spring. At the age of 8, children have the option to try out for the Club Travel Team. Anyone not qualifying for the team or choosing not to tryout will be placed back in the Recreation Program. At age 10, all children must move to a Traveling Team. The sections below contain an overivew of our Recreation Program and Roles and Responsibilities of the Directors responsible for it's success.
We spend a lot of time and energy in making sure that the rules, guidelines, and
participation requirements not only meet United States Youth Soccer Guidelines,
but will ensure the proper environment for all participants to be able to develop their skills and improve their
decision making ability necessary to compete at the traveling age, and most of
all, to ENJOY THE GAME.

programs and resources available to instructional age players and offer training from the finest trainers and companies in the area. It is our
desire to facilitate the learning process of every child from four through ten
years old to ensure that they have best chance at succeeding not only in soccer,
but in every endeavor they take.
UK Petite Program
Our training partner,
UK Elite, runs a 6 week introduction
program for 3 & 4 year
olds. The program is designed
to teach them the world of soccer through
activity based
programs. The emphasis is on a "Games Based"
approach to coaching soccer within a fun
learning
environment.

The following
personnel have volunteered their time and efforts to help build a successful
program to help benefit the children, develop the children, and create a
healthy competitive environment built on skill development for the
children.

Age Group Coordinators
U5
Kevin KazenmayerThe U5 Age Group Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of the
U5 gameday training sessions.
U6 Jim Stevens
The U6 Age Group Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of the U6 training sessions and games.
U7/8 Brian Carskaddan/David Patterson
The U7 Age Group Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of the
U7/8 training sessions and games. Playing time, conflicts with coaches,
or issues with other players or parents in this age group will be directed
towards them. David is responsible for soliciting and collecting sponsorships
for the instructional program. Any inquiries can be directed towards David. Brian is also the Instructional Referee
Supervisor. Any referee issues will be handled by him and
NOT TO THE REFEREE THEMSELVES! Only coaches are
permitted to discuss referees with Brian
U9&Up Joel Mitchell
The U9 & Older
Age Group Coordinator will
oversee the daily operations of the U9 & Older age groups training
sessions and games. Playing time, conflicts with coaches, or issues
with other players or parents in this age group will be directed towards him. As
the U9 & Older age group coordinator he will also handle complaints about unruly
spectators and forward those on to the Head of Instructional for further review. Joel
is also the awards coordinator.
CANCELLATIONS
OF GAMES
Cancellations of Games/Practices—Please consult the weatherclosings.com section of the website after 8:00 am for cancellations. DO NOT CANCEL YOUR OWN GAMES AND PRACTICES!! All cancellations will come through the Instructional Director or Field Coordinator. Go to the web page and click on the weather closings link just below the main menu.
